I found this at the Barton Dam a few weeks ago and I'm hoping they won't return until next winter.

This little guy was so vocal when I sat down near the bird feeder....

but he might have been talking to this fellow who kept jumping onto it for an afternoon feast.

The nature folks and the human visitors are always entertaining at the gardens. I swear I saw an elf on this visit.
